TuringEdge Technologies (“TuringEdge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) builds production-grade AI systems and enterprise software. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data we handle. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy applies to our website at turingedge.ai, our marketing and sales activities, and the products and services we operate. Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer as part of a deployed product or engagement, that processing is also governed by our agreement with that customer (see Our role: controller and processor below).
We collect information in the following ways:
We use personal data to:
We do not sell your personal data.
For our website, marketing, and sales activities, TuringEdge acts as a data controller and decides how and why personal data is processed.
For personal data processed inside a deployed product or client engagement, TuringEdge generally acts as a data processor or sub-processor, handling data on behalf of our business customer, who is the controller. In those cases the customer is responsible for the lawful basis and the notices given to end users, and our processing is governed by a separate data processing agreement.
Some of our products use artificial intelligence to analyze data, generate recommendations, and score, rank, or assist decisions. Where our customers deploy these features, they are responsible for configuring appropriate human oversight. Our platforms are built with audit logging, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop approval controls so that automated processing can be reviewed and governed. If you are an end user of a customer’s deployment and have questions about an automated decision, please contact that organization.
We apply security controls appropriate to the data we handle, including role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, network segmentation, monitoring, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data processed on behalf of a customer is retained according to our agreement with that customer.
We operate from India and may use service providers located in other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected in line with applicable data protection laws, including the use of appropriate contractual safeguards.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. If your data is processed within a customer’s product deployment, we will refer your request to that customer or assist them in responding.
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Our website may link to third-party sites and services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
